Origins of American Indians
•It is believed that the the Bering Strait bridge existed many years ago and, hunting bands from Central Asia, pursuing migrating herds across Bering or along its coasts, could have reached Alaska.
•Once in Alaska, they and their descendants continued to pursue the game animals, following them along the Alaskan coasts, up the Yukon and other river valleys, and gradually south
•The hunting bands spread to the Atlantic Coast and through Central and South America
